Learning in the natural environment.
Our school community is united in our love of the outdoors and our passion about the benefits of learning in a natural environment. Our goal is to implement outdoor and project-based learning with an environmental sustainability focus into our everyday ways of working across all curriculum areas.
Research evidence suggests that through this innovative approach students will develop critical life skills such as: resilience, independence, empathy, collaboration, creativity, citizenship and custodianship of the planet.
We are excited to lead the way in Queensland with this innovative approach to learning and wellbeing and take pride in our point of difference from other Logan secondary schools.
We have several exciting community initiatives underway, please continue to check back for updates and more information.
